Started early as I took Friday off to go see the boys at their Tack & Field day at school.
There was just enough break to stop by Broadway Pizza for lunch with the Math Specialists. Then I checked in to Great Wolf Lodge and went to pick up the kiddos. We packed quickly and headed to the water park. It was great. We played for hours and it wasn't crowded at all. Felix found that he didn't really like the slides, but did like the wave pool and the lazy river. Leo found that he LOVED the slides (and the wave pool and the lazy river). I found that I love that almost all my kids can hang at a water park without an adult hovering over them. FP arrived with pizza for dinner after he had finished work and we went to the water park yet again. We let the kiddos stay up way late and had a ice cream snack before bed. So fun.
The next day was water park again in the morning and then some garage sale-ing for Rellie and me. We went to the historical society plant sale, and got some fun plants, bleeding heart, a peony, and some bee balm. On our way home we decided to stop at just one more sale. There I found a bed frame for Rellie, a shop vac and a gas grill, for a whopping $35 total.
We finished watching Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them and after the kids were in bed I decided to tackle organizing my files on my work computer so I can save them to a drive before I leave. Feels really good to have that done. Now I have to tackle all the files in my Google Drive. Hard task, but I have to do it before I get kicked out of the MPS system.
In the morning, I worked out (first time in two days) and then we went to have lunch with the grandparents as a belated mother's day celebration. After lunch, I tackled the back yard. I sprayed for weeds, raked out the north (not quite) garden. Put in the new plants, trimmed the maple tree and the lilac and raked out the shady garden.
After so much work, we enjoyed the fruits of our labor, eating on the patio in the back yard.
