No progress since last week. We scheduled an induction for Wednesday the 22nd, only because Thursday, Friday and Saturday were full. Hopefully one of those other ladies (or even I) will give birth before then. Monday I'll go in for a ultrasound and a non stress test to monitor the amniotic fluid level and the baby's movement.

It is kind of disappointing, even though there is every chance I could go into labor naturally between now and then, I think it is best for my mental health if I just resign myself to having the induction. I know the important thing is that baby is healthy, but each medical intervention increases the chance of further interventions which is just not what I'd hoped for. It is a bit of a loss to feel like we'll be missing out on the "ideal" birth experience we'd hoped for.
