besides the potty project
One problem with old houses is for some reason, they don't have closets. We have this wonderful pantry in the kitchen, but what I wouldn't give for a coat closet near the door...
I found these hooks in the attic when we moved my grandma out of the farmhouse, probably almost ten years ago. I coated them with about six layers of clear acrylic spray and then stored them in a box in the basement. Now some of them have a home:
Now I can stow the big coat rack and open up some space in the foyer!
